Six motorbike thieves who have been a part of a city-wide ring that stole dozens of high-end bikes by hot-wiring them or simply throwing them behind a van have been busted Tuesday after a months-long NYPD investigation, police sources mentioned.
“Most of them have been on the street they usually have been hot-wiring them,” a police supply mentioned. “There have been instances they’d throw them in a van.”

Operation “Midnight Grinderz” started in October after Detective Scott Munro went out to research a rash of motorbike thefts in Queens.
