Katrina “Trina” Taylor — aka “The Diamond Princess” and “The Baddest Bitch” — headlines the forged “Love & Hip Hop Miami” when it premieres Jan. 1 on VH1.
The Miami-based rapper says she’s repeatedly turned down requests to seem on actuality reveals — however now sees the chance as a strong enterprise transfer.
“For me, I do music. I’ve a label. I’ve artists that I’m signing. I already constructed a model for myself [and] I didn’t need to take a step again,” says Taylor, 39. “I wished to verify [appearing on ‘Love & Hip Hop Miami’] was one thing that made sense. So once I was approached this time it was a distinct dialog. I used to be already at a spot the place my new album would profit.”
That album, “The One,” drops Feb. 23 and can embody 13 tracks and collaborations with artists together with Okay. Michelle, Lil Wayne and a couple of Chainz. Whereas the album is weak and uncooked, Taylor remains to be the “baddest bitch,” she says.

Whereas Taylor says she intends to stay “elegant” on the sequence, she says there’s one state of affairs that may trigger her to get robust: “I’ve a foul phobia with spitting.
